Contract | Night Shift | Every Other Holiday / Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to medical oncology patients in an inpatient setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and chemotherapy-related supportive care as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in medical oncology or a related acute care nursing specialty
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ONS chemotherapy and biotherapy certification
• Prior experience in an inpatient oncology unit
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
