Mammography Technologist - Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Job Summary AMI is seeking a full‑time, 40‑hour per week Mammography / DEXA Technologist to join the team at the Toms River office on Hooper Avenue. This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient radiology practice. Location Toms River, NJ 08753 Hours Monday‑Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm; schedules may change based on business needs. Responsibilities Perform mammography examinations according to departmental technical standards. Use instructional information and methods established by management. Provide for the safety, health and well‑being of all patients, visitors and coworkers in accordance with office policy; respond to emergency codes and life‑safety practices. Complete all other related duties assigned to ensure optimum radiologic care and efficient, orderly patient flow and safe office operation. Provide informal supervision and instructional advice to non‑technical personnel in the work area. Utilize departmental clerical equipment, including a computerized information system and copy machines, to maintain accurate, timely and accessible office records. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Mammography certification. Current and valid Radiologic Technologist license in the State of New Jersey. American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross CPR/BLS certification required prior to employment. Full knowledge of all aspects of radiation protection. Prior DEXA experience preferred. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $34.00 – $46.00 per hour.
