You will diagnose, treat, and manage acute & chronic diseases, perform procedures, order and interpret diagnostic tests, speak to patients & families about their conditions, communicate effectively, and collaborate with a variety of consultants. Consult with physicians and care team members to develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, including referrals to other health team members or specialists. Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the provider’s practice as designated by protocols, and identify problems outside that scope and refer appropriately to a physician.
