Imagine yourself hereYou start your shift by walking key machines, reviewing last shifts notes, and prioritizing tickets. A template needs fabrication for a new fixtureyou build it from drawings. A compressor shows abnormal readingsyou troubleshoot using schematics and a DMM. Later, youll close PMs, replenish consumables, and sync with the Shift Manager on seasonal tasks. Along the way, you document clearly and help a teammate master a basic rebuild.
Your core responsibilities- Champion personal and team safety; follow PPE and tool best practices every time.
- Perform preventive maintenance, facility work orders, and quality repairs that prevent downtime.
- Hit assigned milestones on daily work orders and projects.
- Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and consumables.
- Fabricate jigs/assists/templates ; assemble units and parts to blueprint/shop drawing specs.
- Execute bench work: disassembly/rebuilds, cleaning, operational checks, and upgrades.
- Service pumps, compressors, and plant piping; diagnose basic electrical issues with a DMM and schematics.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance; coordinate with the Shift Manager.
- Support seasonal maintenance during off-hours when needed.
- Grow and share your skills, training others on foundational tasks as you advance.
- Flex to other departments to drive team success; perform additional tasks as directed.
Maintenance Supervisor, with direction as needed from a senior technician appointed by the Supervisor.
What youll bring- 11Вyears of industrial maintenance experience.
- Professional written and verbal communication; accurate, concise documentation.
- Applied math skills (operations with fractions and conversions).
- Facility repair: painting, drywall, plumbing.
- Electrical basics; read wiring diagrams/schematics ; DMM proficiency.
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems.
- Ability to read blueprints/reference drawings.
- Adaptability to changing priorities.
- LEAN familiarity: 5S, Kanban, one-piece flow, and CI techniques.
- Comfort using OEM manuals for diagnostics/repairs.
- Welding, milling, and lathe experience.
- Competent and safe with nail guns, panel and miter saws, and small power tools.
- Tape measure reading and fractional calculations.
- Accurate In-Process Inspections and paperwork completion.
- Safe operation of pallet jacks, lift trucks, jib/gantry cranes, and man lifts.
- Knowledge of safety requirements for each task.
- Computer fluency to find instructions/forms on the LAN and related databases.

Employee will also be required to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, sit and reach on a regular basis during a normal working shift This position requires frequent lifting up to 50 pounds. Work can be done at ground level, in confined space, or at elevations. Exposures include elevated noise levels associated with a manufacturing environment, fluctuations in temperature ambient conditions as well as intermittent exposure to the weather in and about the yard and dock areas.Working hours can include any of three shifts and generally are scheduled for forty hours a week. Some weekend overtime is to be expected.
