Allied - Ultrasound Tech - IN

Overview Ultrasound Tech, FT – 36 hrs/wk, schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday with on-call 7:00 am – 7:00 pm. Responsibilities Perform ultrasound examinations as assigned, including obstetrics, gynecology, abdominal, color Doppler, and peripheral vascular imaging. Operate and optimize ultrasound equipment; apply knowledge of 2-D, A-mode, M-mode, B-mode, digital Doppler and real-time techniques; ensure patient safety and comfort; document findings and assist with image management per department protocols. Qualifications 3+ years of ultrasound experience. Completion of an AMA-accredited ultrasound program. JRCERT program in radiology sciences. Registry as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, ARDMS or ARRT. Current certification in General Radiography by Indiana Board of Health. Knowledge of obstetrics, gynecology, abdominal imaging, color Doppler, and peripheral vascular imaging. Proficiency with 2-D mode, A-mode, M-mode, B-mode, digital Doppler and real-time techniques.
