Automotive Sales Manager

Responsibilities * Lead, motivate, and coach a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and dealership goals * Drive a strong lead management culture by ensuring all internet, phone, and showroom opportunities are worked consistently and effectively * Monitor CRM activity, follow-up processes, appointment-setting performance, and customer engagement * Partner closely with the BDC to maximize appointment show rates, customer experience, and sales conversions * Train and coach sales consultants on phone skills, lead handling, appointment setting, objection management, and customer follow-up * Conduct daily sales meetings, one-on-ones, and performance reviews to help team members grow * Review key performance indicators and implement strategies to improve results * Assist with deal structure, negotiations, and customer satisfaction efforts * Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop top sales talent * Foster a positive, team-oriented culture built on accountability and continuous improvement Qualifications * Previous automotive sales management experience preferred * Strong understanding of CRM systems, internet lead management, and sales processes * Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop sales professionals * Experience managing lead follow-up, appointment conversion, and customer retention strategies * Excellent communication and leadership skills * Highly organized with strong attention to detail and process execution * Ability to analyze performance metrics and turn insights into action * Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record What We're Looking For The ideal candidate believes that coaching matters, process matters, and every lead deserves a great customer experience.
