Stick Welder – Jessup, MD
General Labor Services is hiring Stick Welders for our client in the Jessup, MD area.
Pay Rate
$21.72 per hour
Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques, including FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) .
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding process specifications.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot welding equipment and tools.
- Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Previous Stick Welding experience required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of welding principles.
- Knowledge of welding codes, standards, and safety practices.
- Experience with rigging, sheet metal, and machining preferred.
- Ability to safely operate power tools and hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift, carry, and work in a physically demanding environment.
