Credit and Collections Specialist

You’ll assist clients via phone and email with their accounts as well as visit their homes to complete the collections process, using empathy, patience, and genuine care for the customer experience. Responsibilities of the Credit & Collections Specialist Answer customer inquiries and concerns about their accounts (e.g., bills, service, rates, usage, regulatory rules, etc.), providing high-quality service Recommend programs and develop solutions to help customers maintain service Schedule service and meter work requests with dispatch to ensure timely completion Manage delinquent accounts in office and/or on the road, as appropriate (i.e., mail or deliver disconnect notices and other communications, collect payment or make payment arrangements, disconnect service for non-payment, etc.) Work cross-functionally to achieve satisfactory resolution of customer issues Identify and implement opportunities to improve the customer experience Perform additional tasks as required Qualifications of the Credit & Collections Specialist High school diploma or equivalent Previous call center, collections, or customer service experience Ability to use a large wrench to shut off meters using minimal to significant force Effective written/verbal communication and responsive listening skills, with the ability to handle potential conflict in a calm manner Attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy Good prioritization, organization, and problem-solving skills Strong technology abilities, including MS Office Ability to adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Pay for this Credit & Collections Specialist position depends on experience, ranging from $24-$28/hour. #J-18808-Ljbffr Leddy Group
