Magruder Eye has been enhancing vision and improving lives for nearly five decades. Located in beautiful Pensacola, Florida, we offer full-spectrum medical and surgical eye care with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Our practice is supported by board-certified ophthalmologists, experienced optometrists, certified technicians, and advanced surgical technology.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cataract Surgeon to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for a surgeon who enjoys a high-volume cataract practice, premium IOLs, and comprehensive eye care. While general ophthalmology is part of the role, the primary need is cataract surgery.

What You'll Do:

Perform cataract surgery (including premium lenses and advanced technologies)
Conduct comprehensive exams and manage ocular conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration
Provide pre- and post-operative care for cataract patients
Collaborate with a strong team of ODs, techs, and surgical staff
Maintain accurate documentation and clinical compliance

Qualifications:

MD/DO with completion of an ophthalmology residency
Board certified or board eligible
Active or eligible for Florida medical license
Strong cataract surgery skills; comfort with premium IOLs preferred
Excellent patient communication and clinical judgment
