In this role, you will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure products meet customer requirements, internal specifications, and industry standards. You will play a key role in advancing the site's quality culture, transitioning from traditional quality control practices to a proactive quality assurance approach while driving continuous improvement across operations. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a site-wide quality strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead and mentor the quality team while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to integrate quality into daily operations.
- Own and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) .
- Drive structured problem-solving using Kaizen, 8D, and root cause corrective action methodologies.
- Establish inspection and testing requirements, including test plans and quality verification processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure compliance with company and customer standards.
- Track and report key quality metrics such as scrap, rework, first-pass yield, inspection costs, and supplier/customer PPM.
- Develop and deploy layered audit processes focused on process alignment and error-proofing.
- Represent the site during customer and regulatory quality system reviews.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field .
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment with quality leadership responsibilities .
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with structured problem-solving, data analysis, and quality tools such as Minitab and Microsoft Office .
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future .
- 5+ years of quality leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Experience with machining and assembly processes , including Statistical Process Control (SPC) and process capability (Cp/Cpk).
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt or Lean certification.
- Certified Lead Internal Auditor credential.
