Position Summary Join Guthrie’s established Corning surgical team and help grow high‑quality general surgery care in the Finger Lakes region. Guthrie Medical Group seeks a BC/BE General Surgeon to join East Corning General Surgery and Guthrie Corning Hospital. This is an opportunity to build a rewarding practice within an established multi‑provider surgical clinic and a physician‑led, integrated health system. Highlights of the Position Join East Corning General Surgery, a seven‑provider clinic that includes General Surgery, Breast Surgery, Colon and Rectal Surgery, and surgical APP support. Practice at Guthrie Corning Hospital, a modern 65‑bed hospital and regional cancer center serving the greater Corning market. Provide broad‑based General Surgery care within a collaborative setting that already supports hernia surgery, gallbladder surgery, bowel surgery, skin lesion management, colonoscopy, and upper endoscopy. Leverage Guthrie’s use of laparoscopic, minimally invasive, and robotic surgical capabilities across the General Surgery service line. Work in close coordination with breast surgery and colorectal colleagues for multidisciplinary patient care. Benefit from an integrated referral network across Guthrie primary care, cancer care, and specialty services. Candidate Requirements MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in General Surgery. Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in New York State.
