Tonix Pharmaceuticals* is a fully integrated, commercial-stage biotechnology company focused on central nervous system (CNS) and immunology treatments in areas of high unmet medical need. TONMYA® (cyclobenzaprine HCl sublingual tablets 2.8 mg) is the first new treatment for fibromyalgia in adults in more than 15 years. Tonix’s CNS commercial infrastructure supports its marketed products, including its acute migraine products, Zembrace® Symtouch® (sumatriptan injection 3 mg) and Tosymra® (sumatriptan nasal spray 10 mg). Tonix is investigating TONMYA® in Phase 2 clinical trials to evaluate its potential in major depressive disorder and acute stress disorder/acute stress reaction. Tonix is also advancing a pipeline of immunology programs, including TNX-4800, a Phase 2 ready long-acting human anti-Borrelia OspA monoclonal antibody (mAb) for the prevention of Lyme disease in the U.S., and TNX-1500, a Phase 2 ready third-generation CD40 ligand inhibitor for the prevention of kidney transplant rejection. In addition, the Company is progressing TNX-2900 (intranasal potentiated oxytocin), which is Phase 2 ready for the treatment of Prader-Willi syndrome, a rare disease. Position Overview The Regional Sales Director (RSD) is responsible for developing and executing sales activities within an assigned region while providing field-based leadership to a team of Account Managers. This role drives performance through effective coaching, talent development, and strategic oversight to ensure sales goals are consistently met or exceeded. The RSD plays a key role in building a high-performing, engaged team, supporting professional growth and maximizing individual and collective potential. This position reports directly to the Area Sales Director. Key Responsibilities Ensure sales goals are consistently achieved Recruit, hire and manage a high performing team Coordinate in-field activity to achieve results with agreed-upon accounts Maximize market segment and team dynamics to drive both top-and bottom-line results Effectively plan and conduct region plan of action and other meetings as needed Develop and execute business plans to meet and exceed sales objectives for assigned region Maintain required technical expertise to respond accurately to all questions regarding products, policies, and business-related issues from both employees and customers Consistently demonstrate a high sense of urgency and follow-up while maintaining a high level of integrity in all business interactions When required, be willing and able to cover key accounts (both virtual and in person) in geography as required during account manager vacancies Follow all established occupational health and safety procedures, good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) and standard operating procedures (SOP’s) Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork Perform ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary to support Tonix on various business initiatives Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access on a regular basis Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS degree, preferably in life sciences or business administration) from an accredited University or College is required 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales management experience (managing field sales reps) required Demonstrated sales history of success, leading teams, and developing talent Patient access and market access pull-through experience and knowledge is required Proven ability to deliver candid, effective feedback and efficiently manage performance Knowledge of FDA Marketing Compliance, PhRMA Guidelines, and the Sunshine Act Ability for travel 3 to 4 days per week; overnight and weekend travel is to be expected using all means of transportation as required. Dedicated team player who is able to withstand the high demands of a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential Strong planning and organizational skills Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Highly organized, results driven, problem solver, and collaborator Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams Valid Driver’s License Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and mobile technologies.
