Shift : Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hrs/week

Length : 13 weeks

Weekend rotation: every other, but could work some back-to-back weekends (rare)

Requirements :

• WA license
• 1 year Experience
• Skills required: IV Medication Titration, Cardiac rhythm interpretation, bipap management, ostomy, general drains, traches, chest tubes, lumbar drains
• EPIC experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• TR Bands experience (preferred)

Other Details:

• Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, with strong PCU/Tele and previous float pool experience
• Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Most common unit you will be on is ED Holding. This is not considered your home unit, but it is a unit where you should expect to spend most of your contract. You will float to inpatient PCU area but will likely spend most of your shifts working in the ED Holding area. Neuro, Trauma, Surgical, Medical, etc. Respiratory compromise, sepsis, renal failure, bleeding disorders, general medical and surgical, CHF, COPD, pneumonia, ortho, strokes. CCU (Cardiac Stepdown), Cardiac Short Stay (Cardiac Obs) – 24h post CABG/TAVRs (experience required), STEMIs, fem-pops, pacemakers, ablations, chest pain obs, post-cath, TR bands
• Patient Ratios: PCU: 1:4
• Beds: Float Pool position will float within scope of practice and below within the hospital (PCU, Tele, MedSurg, ER Holding, etc.)
• Scrub Color: Any solid color, professional
