We believe the best tours are built through strong partnerships – between artists, agents, promoters, and the teams behind the scenes who bring a show to life. Mills Entertainment produces and promotes live tours across North America, partnering with legends, creators, personalities, and cultural brands to bring unforgettable live experiences to audiences nationwide and beyond. We are looking for a full-time Talent Buyer to help expand our promoting business by identifying touring opportunities, structuring and negotiating offers, and building relationships with agents and managers across the industry. We are seeking candidates who love the business of live entertainment and want to help build the next generation of touring opportunities at Mills. Impact of the Role This role sits at the center of Mills’ promoting business - identifying, shaping, and bringing to market the next generation of touring opportunities. You will work directly with agents, managers, and creators to build deals, advocate for projects, and help determine what gets made and where it plays. What You'll Do Identify and develop touring opportunities that fit Mills’ promoting portfolio Submit offers and negotiate deal terms with agents and managers Structure deals including guarantees, splits, and co-promote arrangements Evaluate markets and touring history when building offers Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies, managers, and rights holders Work closely with Mills’ internal booking, marketing, and production teams to bring tours to market Maintain clear visibility on deal pipeline and opportunity tracking Proactively cultivate new relationships and touring opportunities within comedy, creator, and personality-driven touring Stay ahead of emerging talent, formats, and touring trends to inform opportunity development What We're Looking For 5-8 years of experience in live entertainment (promoter, venue, agency, or tour development) Existing relationships with agents, managers, or industry decision makers Experience negotiating guarantees and deal structures A strong instinct for touring markets and audience demand Someone who is competitive, collaborative, and energized by closing deals Entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity for emerging artists, creators, and touring opportunities Strong relationship instincts and credibility with industry partners Interest in comedy, creator, podcast, or personality-driven touring Ability to travel as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr Mills Entertainment
