Key Qualifications:

• Active OT or COTA License in the state of VA (required)
• Prior experience in a school-based setting or with the K-12 population preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Strong organization and time management skills, especially for itinerant positions
• Comfort with adapting service delivery to meet varied student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, supporting academic and functional skill development
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education staff and classroom teachers
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and school personnel
• Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with state and school guidelines
• Travel between sites within the district, as needed, based on assigned caseload
