Location: San Jose, CA (hybrid) Pay Range: $33 - $43/hr. Duration: 6 Months Top Skills:

• 2–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance with strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test automation, and bug lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with web technologies, scripting/programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, ActionScript, HTML, Perl, Shell), and automated testing tools.
• Experience with Animation software (Flash/Animate preferred), ability to write and maintain test scripts, interpret product specifications, and work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.

Duties:

• Thorough understanding of test methodology, test life cycle, and bug life cycle.
• Production/test experience in the Gaming/Animation industry is an added advantage.
• Experience with any Animation software, including Flash/Animate authoring tool. ACE certification advantage.
• Experience with any scripting language such as HTML, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Shell, etc.
• Should have the ability to write and maintain test specs and scripts.
• Ability to interpret project specifications.
• Works closely with development.
• Good time management skills.
• Superior communication skills.
• Ability to use testing tools for the product area.
• Advanced knowledge of one core operating system.
• Ability to take on new tasks.
• Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Experience: 2–5 years.

Skills:

• Education in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. A bachelor's or Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in quality assurance and automation.
• Passion for web technologies, sharp eye for detail, and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to easily learn new technologies.
• Good knowledge of software testing fundamentals.
• Good understanding of common testing methodologies and ability to apply them.
• Ability to understand and interpret product specifications.
• Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with experience in troubleshooting.
• Relevant experience working with web technologies.
• Knowledge of scripting and programming languages.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Experience developing test automation frameworks and systems.
• Relevant experience working with and developing applications based on Java, ActionScript, JavaScript, and Python.
• Experience working in a Scrum team or Agile environment.
• Experience working with remote teams.

Education:

• BE or Diploma in Animation.
