Working in a customer-oriented environment, the Laborer must work well in teams to maximize efficiency while demonstrating a strong initiative and safety focus./ppRoles Responsibilities:/pulliOperate or move equipment around the yard and shop./liliHelp maintain inventory of supplies and/or shop equipment./liliMaintain a clean and safe work environment./liliFlexibility and ability to work on various shop, maintenance, and yard tasks./liliPerform job safety analyses (JSAs) and safety meetings./liliAttend communication meetings and safety training as scheduled./li/ulpSkills, Knowledge, Abilities:/pulliPrioritize and perform multiple tasks with the ability to meet daily demands and function in busy situations./liliAbility to operate and perform daily maintenance checks on required machinery./liliMedically fit to work in a safety sensitive environment; physically fit including the ability to pull self-up and down from heavy equipment./liliAbility to work outside in all weather conditions on a site and some evening and weekends shift may be needed./liliDemonstrate initiative to work with others to foster a respectful workplace./liliAble to accept new challenges and responsibilities as they arise./li/ulpEducation Experience:/pulliHigh School or GED./liliRead, write, speak and understand English and follow written and/or verbal instructions./liliFlexibility and ability to work on various shop, maintenance, and yard tasks./liliEnvironmental awareness./liliVisual Thread Inspection certification a plus./li/ulpNote: This description is not intended to limit the assignment of work or be construed as a complete list of the many duties to be performed by the incumbent.
