Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, conducting physical exams and deep dives into medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions, leveraging your skills in interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to devise and implement individualized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide essential intraoperative support, from preparing operating rooms to ensuring proper patient positioning and expertly passing surgical instruments during operations
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Educational Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practices strongly preferred

Certifications Required

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant or eligibility for licensure
