Exciting Opportunity for an OR RN!

Job Description:
- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)
- Location: Close to a major acute care hospital
- Participate in a fast-paced environment with diverse surgical procedures
- Required Weekends: Yes, at least every other weekend, may exceed based on unit needs
- Important Notes:
- Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered
- May be asked to float between Main OR and Outpatient Surgery Center
- Strong candidates may have the opportunity to screen with call-outs
- Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in surgical procedures (3 years preferred)
- All necessary skills are required; no first-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates welcome
- Certifications:
- ACLS (preferred), BCLS
- Call Requirements:
- Weekend/Holiday Call Rotation: 0700-0700
- Facility Highlights:
- Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital with 212 staffed beds
- Charting System: Epic (highly preferred)
- Staffing & Patient Care:
- Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
- Daily Census: Approximately 20 patients
- Number of Surgical Rooms: 6 in Main OR, 3 in Outpatient Surgery Center
- Interdisciplinary Support: Physical Therapy, Radiology, Pharmacy, and more
- Equipment Used: Stryker, Smith and Nephew, and others
- Skills Required:
- Proficient in various surgical procedures including:
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Appendectomy, Cystoscopy, Total Joint Replacement, and more
- Expectations:
- Must commit to working weekends and holidays
- Must include all RTO requests when submitting for the position
