Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Medical Surgical Telemetry position in Johnstown, PA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a valid PA or compact RN license.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a Medical Surgical Telemetry department at a large tertiary care regional referral hospital
• Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center with advanced specialized services across a broad range of specialties
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
• AHA certifications required (BLS at minimum; must be AHA-issued)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• PCU or Medical Surgical Telemetry experience required
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Pennsylvania state clearances required prior to start: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police (PATCH) clearance, Department of Human Services fingerprinting, and FBI Department of Aging fingerprinting (completed within the last 2 years)
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• All fingerprint clearances must be submitted and approved before the candidate can be cleared to start
