We are seeking a Welder - Immediate Need to become an integral part of our team! The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.

Responsibilities:

• Interpretation of Print & Traveler: Accurately interprets pertinent data that is contain on the Print and Traveler and apply it to the task being performed.
• Machine Set-Up: Ensures all machine parameters are properly adjust prior to beginning any operation.
• Part Welding: Welds parts according to the print specifications, stopping after the first part is completed for First Part Quality Inspection as required.
• Must be able to MIG and TIG weld steel, stainless steel and aluminum
• Product Quality Checks: Performs quality checks on as instructed to ensure that the parts are defect free.
• Completes all documentation associated with the job is accurately completed prior to sending the parts to the next operation.
• Performs other tasks as directed by the immediate supervisor or management. Advises immediate supervisor on all problems encountered and not resolved.

​ Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to handle parts up to 35 pounds.
• May be asked to perform other tasks within reasonable exertion limits to assist other shop as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
• Ability to handle physical workload

Minimal Qualifications:

• High school education desired but not mandatory.
• Must be thoroughly familiar with the various welding techniques and the checking of proper equipment operation.
• Must be able to adjust equipment to produce quality welds on various types materials.
