Registered Nurse (RN) – Clearwater, FLA healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Med Surg/Telemetry Float Pool team. This role provides high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple acute care facilities while supporting positive clinical outcomes and maintaining professional nursing standards.ResponsibilitiesAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process and established clinical standardsProvide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in an acute care settingMonitor patient conditions and promptly identify and respond to changes in statusAdminister medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and organizational policiesCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient careDelegate appropriate patient care activities to other healthcare team membersMaintain accurate and timely patient documentationEducate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructionsAdapt to various clinical environments and support staffing needs across multiple facilitiesDemonstrate professional accountability and participate in ongoing learning and development initiativesQualificationsGraduate of an accredited School of NursingCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practiceCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart AssociationAssociate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferredMinimum of two years of recent Registered Nurse experience in an acute Med Surg/Telemetry settingPrevious experience with electronic medical record systems preferredStrong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and adapt to changing patient care environmentsReliable transportation and flexibility to float between assigned facilities as neededBenefitsCompetitive compensationMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offRetirement savings plan with employer contributionsTuition assistance and professional development opportunitiesEmployee recognition programs and wellness initiativesCareer growth and advancement opportunities
