Experience a dynamic and rewarding contract opportunity serving school communities as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. This role begins as soon as possible and extends through June 17, 2027, offering consistency and the chance to build strong, meaningful relationships with students over multiple school years. Support diverse learners near Cranston, RI, working collaboratively within a respected educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold or be eligible for a RIDE PK-12 SLP Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Demonstrated school-based SLP experience (SLPA and Clinical Fellow applicants are not eligible due to union supervision requirements)
- Commitment to best practices in assessment, intervention, and collaboration
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to a K-12 caseload
- Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and family members to support student success
- Participate in team meetings and professional development initiatives
- Foster a positive, supportive environment focused on communication growth and student achievement
- Maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
