Armed & Unarmed Security Officer

Silverback Security
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Location: Denver and surrounding areas
Schedule: Part-Time, Nights, Weekends, and Event-Based Opportunities Available

About Silverback Security

Silverback Security is seeking professional, reliable, and motivated Armed and Unarmed Security Guards to join our growing team. We provide security services for hotels, apartment communities, throughout the summerwe mainly provide security at bars, nightclubs, special events, and private venues throughout all of Denver and its surrounding areas.

We are looking for individuals who maintain a professional appearance, possess strong communication skills, and can confidently handle situations while providing excellent customer service And de escalation.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned properties and venues to maintain a safe environment
• Monitor and control access to client properties
• Enforce client policies and security procedures
• Observe, document, and report incidents accurately
• Respond to disturbances, emergencies, and suspicious activity
• Perform crowd control and maintain order during events
• Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts
• Work closely with venue management, staff, law enforcement, and emergency personnel when necessary
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while representing Silverback Security

Typical Assignments

• Bars and nightclubs
• Hotels
• Apartment complexes
• Special events and private functions
• Concerts and large public gatherings

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background screening
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Armed Positions

• Current Colorado Armed Security License
• Valid firearms qualifications and permits
• Understanding of use-of-force laws and company policies

Preferred

• Prior security, military, law enforcement, corrections, or customer service experience
• CPR, First Aid, or AED Certification
• Experience working in nightlife, hospitality, or event security
