What You'll Do

• Evaluate patients' functional capabilities through formal and informal assessments
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team
• Implement therapeutic interventions focusing on improving daily activity performance
• Educate patients and families on pathology, treatment options, and prognosis
• Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants, aides, and students
• Recommend adaptive or supportive equipment and assist in securing necessary supplies
• Document treatment progress and coordinate care plans in compliance with policies
• Support interdisciplinary team efforts to enhance patient outcomes
• Participate in community education and promote occupational therapy services

What You Need

• Valid Michigan Occupational Therapist license
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, outpatient preferred
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Required:

• Occupational Therapist license in Michigan

Preferred:

• Outpatient therapy experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
