Overview Registered Nurse – Postpartum, LDRP – a 13‑week travel assignment in Milan, New Mexico, United States. Start date: 06/08/2026. Guaranteed 36 hours per week, 3x12 rotating (12‑hour) shifts. The role is in a hospital setting focused on perinatal care and requires a licensed RN who provides patient‑ and family‑centered care throughout all stages of the nursing process and coordinates with the care team. Deliver direct patient care across the postpartum spectrum and provide clear, culturally sensitive education to patients and families. Coordinate education on transitions of care and support health literacy for successful postpartum recovery. Direct and supervise licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, and other ancillary personnel as part of the care team. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record; collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the broader care team. Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives; float to other departments as needed with appropriate orientation and training. Requirements Current New Mexico RN license or active Multi‑State Compact (eNLC) license. BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association (or equivalent). Education: ADN required; BSN preferred. Department‐specific certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required. OPS Emergency Workshop and STABLE certification required within 12 months. SAFER NM Technician certification preferred. Education and clinical experience that provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for the assigned department.
