Labcorp seeks a per diem Lab Assistant for its Phoenix location to receive, prepare, and process clinical specimens. The role involves specimen handling, equipment maintenance, data entry, and adherence to laboratory safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Receive, sort, and prepare clinical specimens for testing and analysis Perform data entry and scanning of specimen and patient information Monitor lab equipment functionality and conduct minor maintenance Identify and troubleshoot specimen-related issues Maintain clean, safe work environment and replenish supplies as needed Requirements High school diploma or GED Comfort handling biological specimens and accurate specimen identification Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency Ability to pass standardized color blindness test Strong attention to detail with multitasking capability Capable of sitting or standing for extended periods
