Requirement : Automation script development and maintenance; Python/Playwright

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts for web applications.
• Design and execute UI and API automation test suites using Python and Playwright.
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for regression and functional testing.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and improve automation coverage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test strategy and quality improvements.
• Support test execution across multiple environments and browsers.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation/SDET.
• Strong experience with Python and Playwright .
• Experience in UI and API automation testing.
• Knowledge of automation framework design and maintenance.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Page Object Model (POM).
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building and maintaining enterprise test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience testing REST APIs and web applications.
• Exposure to eCommerce or retail applications is a plus.
