Forklift Driver (Tucson, AZ)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

The Forklift Driver is a key position at Jensen Infrastructure. Working outdoors, our forklift driver moves products in and out of the shop and safely loads delivery trucks. You quickly become the product expert - knowing what things are, how they're loaded and where they go in inventory.


You'll collaborate with the yard, production, and office teams, and interact with truck drivers and vendors.


A highlight of your day to day will include:

• Choosing and utilizing the proper forklift, based on weight, to load, unload, transport, and stack material in appropriate areas.
• Operating forklift in production areas in a safe manner, always abiding by the speed limits and safety policies.
• Moving finished products and supplies from departments to yard or to trucks for loading.
• Completing daily forklift inspections and keeping work areas organized and clean.

You're enthusiastic and motivated in a fast-paced environment. You understand the controls and limitations of forklifts. Operating multiple size lifts, moving large/awkward/heavy products doesn't scare you. You have excellent judgement with weight limitations. You don't take shortcuts. You're safety conscious not just for yourself, but for your team.
