In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing customized rehabilitation plans aimed at helping patients with musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions. Our facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation equipment that enhance the treatment experience. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and support staff, dedicated to creating a clean, safe, and effective therapy environment in compliance with all state and federal regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations of each patient's condition, taking into account their medical history and functional goals to craft tailored treatment plans.Implement evidence-based manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, adjusting methods as necessary based on patient responses to treatment.Collaborate actively with a diverse healthcare team, which may include physicians, occupational therapists, and surgical specialists, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients.Educate patients on effective home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and ergonomic practices to support their recovery and prevent future injuries.Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, utilizing electronic health records (EHR) to track improvements and modify treatment protocols as needed.Maintain the therapy area to meet hygiene and safety standards, ensuring all equipment is in proper working condition.Engage in continuous professional development to stay ahead in the latest trends and advancements in orthopedic physical therapy.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will primarily work with outpatient orthopedic patients ranging in age and functional abilities, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Your role is crucial in restoring function and alleviating pain, enabling patients to regain control over their lives.QualificationsMust hold a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California.A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates with further education or credentials.Strong manual therapy skills and familiarity with therapeutic exercise protocols are essential.Preferred ExperienceA minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy is preferred, although motivated new graduates may also be considered.Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and patient management software is an advantage.CPR/BLS certification is required prior to start.Compensation and BenefitsThe position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off (PTO), and paid holiday.
