Territory Sales Manager

The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for representing heavy equipment machine sales products in a defined geographic territory with the ultimate goal of selling, leasing, or renting of these products. This position will target general contractors, asphalt paving, concrete, and earthmoving contractors.Outgoing and friendly nature with ability to establish and build relationshipsExceptional organizational and communication skillsBasic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)Business-like, professional appearanceWillingness to make "cold calls" in addition to nurturing and expanding existing relationships with well-established customer baseKeep updated and thorough records of calls, leads, and sales forecasts within CRM softwareWillingness to work tirelessly to develop and manage a defined territoryGeneral knowledge of heavy construction equipmentDemonstrated knowledge of selling techniques (prospecting, overcoming objections, closing sales)Excellent selling, negotiating, and closing skills with the ability to build long-term business relationshipsFirst-class organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills, deadline-orientedGeneral knowledge of retail financingAbility to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timelinessA minimum of three years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required.Background in Heavy Equipment Sales strongly PreferredA high school diploma or equivalent with some college coursework or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferredBachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferredValid driver’s licenseBilingual helpful but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
