Litigation ParalegalPay Rate: $40 to $50 per hour DOELocation: Downtown Los Angeles, CAJob Type: Contract-to-Hire, Full-Time, Onsite for the first 45 days then hybrid 3 days onsiteLHH is partnering with a national law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal on a contract-to-hire basis to support a busy business litigation practice in Downtown Los Angeles. This role requires a hands-on paralegal with strong trial preparation experience and the ability to manage matters from pleadings through trial. There is strong potential for conversion based on performance and business need.ResponsibilitiesAssist attorneys in all phases of litigation, from initial pleadings through trial supportPrepare for trial, including trial binders, witness files, exhibit preparation, and trial logisticsIndependently handle court filings and ensure compliance with deadlines in state and federal courtsDraft pleadings, correspondence, discovery materials, and other legal documentsOrganize, maintain, and manage case files and litigation calendarsCoordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnelSupport discovery processesQualifications3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal; strong business litigation background preferredTrial preparation experience requiredParalegal certification requiredStrong knowledge of California state and federal court filing proceduresExcellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with eDiscovery tools is a plus, not a requirementBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
