Job SummarySenior Data Engineer Location: Bristol or Manchester (onshore, office-based/hybrid per client policy — London-based candidates not eligible for this engagement) Seniority: Senior — c. 10+ years' relevant experience Role Overview We are looking for experienced Senior Data Engineers to join feature teams building and productionising cloud based data products, including work on Master Data Management (MDM) integration and real-time data patterns. This is a delivery-focused, hands-on role for engineers who are comfortable owning a data product end-to-end rather than working on isolated tickets. Key Responsibilities • Design, build and deploy data products on a cloud-based platform using modern ELT/ETL patterns. • Write and maintain dbt models, Python pipelines and SQL transformations to a production standard. • Contribute to MDM integration and implementation activities, including bespoke and commercial off the-shelf (COTS) MDM solutions. • Design and implement real-time data product patterns where required. • Build and maintain automated testing, data validation and quality checks. • Apply AI-enabled tooling and approaches to speed up development and testing. • Work within existing delivery, architecture, security and governance standards. • Support deployment, go-live and post-go-live stabilisation activities (DevOps practices).
