About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Global Data Governance, Legal, Compliance & Ethics to lead the strategic and operational aspects of data governance, with a focus on privacy, AI, and cybersecurity. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive data governance strategies that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of global data protection and privacy regulations, as well as the ability to influence and ensure compliance with these standards. The VP will also be tasked with establishing guidelines for the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies and will play a key role in the company's global privacy program, including incident response and individual rights requests. Applicants for the VP position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's or Law degree strongly preferred, and at least 15 years of experience in data governance, privacy compliance, AI, cybersecurity, or related roles. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in implementing data governance frameworks, experience in developing and managing teams, and the ability to collaborate effectively across the organization. Strong communication skills and relevant certifications in data privacy and protection are a plus. The VP will also be responsible for launching a Global Data Governance Center of Excellence and will work closely with the Chief Information Officer and Chief Compliance & Ethics Officer to ensure the integration of data governance best practices into the company's operations.
