About This Role Adventist Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med Surg Medicine Unit. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about providing holistic care and mentoring others in a supportive environment. Highlights Pay: $37.00 - $55.00 Location: Rockville, MD Facility: Shady Grove Medical Center Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Educate patients and families through the continuum of care. Serve as role models to Level I nurses. Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice. Use equipment and technology correctly and delegate non-nursing duties appropriately. Develop a plan of care according to patient population. Identify impending changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action. Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care. Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective. Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings to practice. Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participate in change of practice based on evidence. Requirements Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience required. NICU experience, strongly preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Current Maryland State nursing license. Passing score on NCLEX. Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
