Athletic Ticket Office Internship

This position requires regular, weekend, and evening hours and is in-person, on-campus. Location 9201 University City Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28223 Pay Rate $9.00 per hour. Benefit Eligibility Temporary staff employees are ineligible to receive benefits (leave, health coverage, State service credit, etc.) but are covered by Worker’s Compensation provisions. Non‑permanent employees working 30 or more hours per week for three months or more (cumulative of all positions and not designated as variable hour workers) are eligible to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan within 30 days of eligibility. Non‑permanent employees working less than 30 hours per week (cumulative of all positions, or designated as variable hour workers – e.g., student workers) are measured during designated measurement periods. If they average 30 or more hours per week over a measurement period, they will be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan and will be notified of instructions. Temporary hourly workers with FTE ≥ .75 (cumulative of all jobs) or measured full‑time, and temporary salaried workers regardless of FTE, are offered the high deductible health insurance. Duties and Responsibilities Extensive use of the Paciolan donor management and ticketing system. Game day ticket operations. Training in Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards, security awareness, and other University policies. NCAA policy compliance. Providing high levels of customer service. Outside sales of ticketing products. Knowledge of donor related benefits and opportunities for customers. Other duties as determined and assigned by the internship supervisor. Qualifications Undergraduate degree required. Master’s degree in sports management/athletic administration or a related field preferred.
