Compensation:

$27 - $36 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Field Operations & Deployment: Coordinate and deploy equipment, personnel, and materials across multiple field projects to maintain schedule and budget targets.

• Team Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, mentor, and evaluate Field Foremen and Environmental Technicians. Oversee time and attendance, performance management, and workforce development in collaboration with HR.

• Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Audit job sites for compliance with federal, state, local, and company rules (OSHA, EPA, IDEM). Ensure accurate waste profiling, manifesting, transportation, and disposal documentation.

• Project Quality & Profitability: Assist Project Managers with quote tracking, cost-to-budget reviews, change orders, and profitability reporting while conducting regular site audits to evaluate work quality and efficiency.

• Incident Management & CAPA: Lead investigations for reported good-catch and safety incidents, partnering with the compliance team to enforce Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in operational briefings, enforce disciplinary policies when necessary, and maintain active involvement in company safety initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

• Experience: Demonstrated progressive experience and leadership within industrial services, environmental remediation, or hazardous material handling.

• Certifications & Training:

  • OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 (Construction)

  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification

  • Confined Space Entry (CSE) Training / Certification

  • IDEM UST Class B (or ability to obtain)

  • NIMS ICS (100/200/300/700/703) and OSRO operational training preferred

  • AEP Safety Certification or Designated Trainer background preferred

• Licensing: Valid Driver’s License required; Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) highly preferred.

• Software & Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft 365, CRM software, and mobile field reporting applications.

Physical Requirements & Environmental Working Conditions

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted on a regular basis.

• Ability to stand, sit, stoop, walk, or kneel across uneven terrain and varied outdoor environments for extended periods.

• Must be comfortable operating hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as required.

• Ability to tolerate Level B protective gear and a full-face respirator.

• Ability to work in environments with exposure to strong odors or hazardous materials following proper PPE protocols.

Preferred Competencies

• Deep working knowledge of OSHA regulations and hazardous waste management guidelines.

• Strong background in positive performance coaching and safety instruction.

• Demonstrated critical thinking, project costing awareness, and adaptability under changing site conditions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
