Procurement Specialist (Contract)

Vancouver, WA (Onsite) $20.00 - 25.00/hour Contract | Approximately 3 Months

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established organization in the Vancouver area to identify a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist for a temporary assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with procurement, operations, administrative, customer service, or purchasing support experience who enjoys working in a structured, process-driven environment.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively, follows established procedures, and thrives in a collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process procurement-related requests through a ticketing system
  
  
• Coordinate equipment orders and asset tracking activities
  
  
• Support onboarding requests and internal service needs
  
  
• Partner with vendors and internal teams to facilitate purchasing activities
  
  
• Assist with purchase orders, invoicing, and procurement administration
  
  
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports
  
  
• Follow established workflows, policies, and standard operating procedures
  
  
• Provide excellent internal customer support
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, operations, administrative support, customer service, inventory management, or related fields
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes
  
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
  
• Comfortable learning new systems and technology platforms
  
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
  
  
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a team environment
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Procurement or purchasing experience
  
  
• Experience supporting asset management activities
  
  
• Exposure to ERP, accounting, or inventory management systems
  
  
• Vendor coordination or vendor management experience
  
  
• Purchase order and invoicing experience
  
  
• Experience working within ticketing or service management platforms

Pay Details

The compensation for this position is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour.
