Systems Analyst 5-Support

Overview Job Duties: As a member of the Support organization, deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. Resolve post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. The role acts as a primary point of contact for customers, facilitating relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues. As a Senior Principal Systems Engineer, you are expected to have strong expertise across the stack & tiers (application and system), focus on the creation and management of business solutions using Oracle technology, and oversee the operations and infrastructure needed to achieve high service levels and customer satisfaction. You will set overall technology direction for key areas, build internal expertise, and leverage knowledge within the Support organization. Travel is nationally unanticipated across various sites in the U.S. Telecommuting may be possible. Responsibilities Deliver post-sales support and solutions to Oracle customers. Resolve post-sales inquiries (non-technical) and technical questions related to Electronic Support Services. Provide guidance on the technology direction for key areas and contribute to building internal expertise within Support. Lead and guide resolution of highly difficult and complex problems involving multiple product areas; advise senior technical advisors on projects and opportunities for self-advancement. Travel within the United States is expected and may be unanticipated; telecommuting may be allowed. Qualifications Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, followed by 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a job offered or in a Systems Analyst-related occupation.
