Job Duties:
- Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic who safely performs diagnostic, maintenance and repair of heavy equipment such as, but not limited to: Haul Trucks, Water Trucks, Rubber Tire and Track Dozers, Front-End Loaders, and Motor Graders.
- Perform the removal, repair and installation of transmissions, engines, breaks, differentials, pumps, motors, torque convertors, final drives and other heavy equipment systems or components.
- Performs mechanical and lubrication preventative maintenance on machine systems such as: hydraulic, power train and engines.
- Prioritize and make decisions regarding equipment repair as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining work orders and performing work area inspections.
- Operate mobile equipment such as: Overhead cranes, forklifts, and boom trucks.
- Perform welding such as: Carbon arc, Plasma, Mig, Tig, and Stick.
Requirements:
- Two (2) years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Ability to prioritize repairs and possess excellent decision-making skills
- Ability to troubleshoot machine systems
