We're looking for an Operating Business Partner to take the established studio to its next stage of growth.  This is an entrepreneurial business partner opportunity, not a traditional salaried management position.  For those seeking a more traditional role, see our studio manager posting.

About BODY20

BODY20 is a boutique fitness concept combining one-on-one personal training with FDA-cleared Electro-Muscle Stimulation (EMS) technology.  A 20-minute BODY20 workout delivers the equivalent muscle engagement of hours spent in a conventional gym so members can build muscle and burn calories, without need for heavy weights so it's easy on the joints.

EMS technology activates a higher percentage of muscle fibers compared to traditional strength training, making BODY20 especially appealing to:

• Busy professionals and parents
• Individuals seeking to lose weight and build strength, without needing to spend hours in a gym
• Adults wanting to maintain muscle mass, without placing stress on the joints with a low-impact alternative to traditional strength training 

The opportunity

Unlike starting up from scratch, the studio is fully operational with a loyal base of members that are seeing great results.  The foundation is in place.  The opportunity is to help unlock the next stage of growth.   EMS is well established in many international markets but is still relatively unknown in the U.S.  That creates both our biggest challenge and our biggest opportunity:  building awareness in the local community and turning that awareness into new members.

We're looking for a hands-on operating partner who gets excited about growing a business— not simply managing one.

The ideal partner will bring experience, ability, and passion in areas such as:

• Sales and business development — persistent, competitive, and resourceful; build relationships, generate referrals, follow up consistently, and turn opportunities into long-term members.
• Marketing and community outreach — enjoy networking, developing local partnerships, attending community events, and creating grassroots awareness
• Team leadership and management — build a high-performance culture; coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable while creating a positive and supportive environment
• Customer experience and relationship building — genuinely care about people and create exceptional member experiences that drive retention, referrals, and life-changing results

Previous fitness industry experience is not required . We're much more interested in someone with an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented mindset who loves sales, building relationships, leading people, and making things happen.

Partnership & Economics

This is an entrepreneurial operating-partner opportunity, not a traditional salaried management position.
A win-win partnership and ownership equity structure will be discussed after confirming mutual fit.  Similar to typical business ownership, your investment may involve a combination of sweat equity or capital investment.  Near-term cash compensation will be performance-driven and tied to the partner's ability to grow sales and profitability — creating strong alignment between the partner and the business.
