Standard Fire Protection, an Altus Fire & Life Safety Company, is looking for a Kitchen Hood Suppression Systems Technician to join our team!We value our well-being just as much as our hard work. Salary Range: $20.00/hr - $35.00/hr Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, test, service, and maintain kitchen hood fire suppression systems
- Perform work in compliance with FDNY codes, NFPA standards, and company procedures
- Diagnose system issues and complete repairs as needed
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time
- Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and team members
- Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good condition
- Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA standards
- Experience: At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with kitchen hood suppression systems
- Licensing/Certifications:
- FDNY Certificate of Fitness S-17 (required)
- OSHA 30 certification (required)
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity and experience with Ansul systems
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in commercial kitchens or restaurant environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
