Registered Nurse - Skilled Nursing (PRN)

This individual is responsible for the daily clinical aspect functioning to meet all residents needs./ph3Job Description/h3pResponsibilities include:/pulliMedication supervision/administration in compliance with Federal State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines./liliAdmissions of new residents to include all admission assessments and documentation./liliCompleting acute and long-term care plans or service plans./liliClinical system tracking (i.e. wounds or infection control) under the direction of the Director of Nursing./liliDischarges, assessments, and clinical documentation as indicated./liliProviding general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community./liliNotifying physicians and/or family members of any change in residents health and providing proper documentation./liliResponding quickly to all emergencies./liliMaintaining close communication with all departments and staff members./liliMaintaining confidentiality of residents and prospective residents information./liliUnderstanding role in the Safety Disaster Plan./liliProviding educational meetings for residents and staff./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pRequirements include:/ppstrongLevel of Formal Education:/strong An Associates Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school: or Two years related experience and/or training equivalent combination of education and applicable experience./ppstrongArea of Study:/strong Nursing/ppstrongYears of Experience:/strong 1+ years/ppstrongType of Experience:/strong Skilled, sub-acute, or memory care setting/ppstrongSpecial Certifications:/strong Must have a Registered Nurses License current, with no judgments against it, in the state in which he/she is practicing and must be CPR certified/ppstrongLanguage Skills:/strong Acceptable fluency in English in order to perform job duties and speak, read, write, and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and applicable third parties./ppstrongTechnical Competencies:/strong Basic computer skills/ppstrongSkills and Ability:/strong/pulliAbility to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively./li/ulh3Additional Information/h3pSenior Lifestyle offers a comprehensive benefits plan to eligible team members including health, dental, vision, retirement benefits, short-term disability, long-term disability, and paid time off.
