Technical Support Specialist - Georgia Tech

Key Responsibilities Respond to and resolve technical support tickets for Windows and Linux systems, ensuring timely and accurate solutions. Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity, hardware, and software issues across campus infrastructure. Utilize ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) to document incidents, track progress, and communicate status to stakeholders. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement system updates, patches, and security enhancements. Provide end‑user training and documentation to promote self‑service and reduce recurring incidents. Requirements Proven experience in technical support for Windows and Linux operating systems. Familiarity with ticketing platforms and ITIL best practices. Excellent communication skills and a customer‑centric approach.
