Kolon TissueGene, Inc. (KTG) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Rockville, Maryland. We are advancing TG‑C, a first‑in‑class allogeneic cell and gene therapy for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis, administered as a single intra‑articular injection. As we approach Biologics License Application (BLA) submission and prepare for U.S. commercial launch, we are building the teams, processes, and operating infrastructure needed to bring this therapy to patients. About the Role The Supply Chain Operations Manager builds and improves the practical supply‑chain operating processes that will carry TG‑C from clinical supply into commercial launch; the commercial supply‑chain operating model, the S&OP and planning framework, inventory and CDMO coordination, import/export and cold‑chain logistics, and supply‑chain documentation and compliance. This is a manager‑level individual‑contributor role with strong cross‑functional coordination responsibility. You will lead assigned supply‑chain workstreams, manage execution details, identify and escalate risks, and support decision‑making through clear analysis, documentation, and reporting; working closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Commercial, Regulatory, external CDMOs, and logistics providers. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain the future commercial supply‑chain operating model, defining end‑to‑end supply flow, external‑manufacturing handoffs, ownership, timelines, and escalation paths. Establish import/export and cold‑chain operating standards, including the future cold‑chain import route from Singapore (or other external sites) to the U.S. Build and maintain an S&OP framework linking sales forecast, production planning, purchasing, inventory planning, and supply availability; run demand and supply planning cycles. Monitor inventory, material readiness, and consumption across internal sites and external partners; reconcile physical, partner, and system records; track commercial stockpiling readiness. Coordinate domestic and international shipments — including temperature‑controlled and cold‑chain logistics — with freight forwarders, couriers, customs brokers, and CDMOs. Prepare and review shipping, import/export, and chain‑of‑custody documentation; build SOPs, logistics playbooks, and shipment checklists. Own the supply‑chain documentation framework (SOPs, process flows, work instructions, templates, trackers) and keep it audit‑ready and aligned with cGMP‑related expectations. Escalate supply risks, inventory discrepancies, and process gaps to the SC/SP Associate Director in a timely manner; support internal audits and partner inspections. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field. 5–8 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, planning, external manufacturing, or biopharma operation in biotech, pharma, healthcare, or another regulated environment. Strong understanding of supply‑chain operations: procurement, inventory, logistics, import/export, and planning. Experience with supply‑chain process design, inventory management, or operational documentation. Experience working with CDMOs, freight forwarders, or other external supply partners. Working familiarity with SAP or another ERP system (deep system expertise not required). Experience with S&OP, demand/supply planning, or inventory planning processes. Experience with import/export operations, customs documentation, cold‑chain or temperature‑controlled shipment. Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and supply‑chain tracking/reporting tools. Strong cross‑functional coordination, stakeholder management, and analytical/documentation skills. Clear written and verbal communication; ability to work effectively with CDMOs, logistics providers, and customs brokers. Full‑time, onsite at KTG's Rockville, MD headquarters. Standard office hours, with occasional early‑morning or evening availability for global coordination, urgent shipments, or commercial‑readiness activities. Occasional visits to warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or CDMO facilities; ability to occasionally carry materials up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations are available. Base Salary Range $100,000 – $140,000 per year. The base salary offered within this range depends on job‑related factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location, consistent with applicable law. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary performance‑based incentive compensation.
