About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Development and Marketing Communications to spearhead the organization's fundraising strategy and ensure a cohesive approach to marketing and communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the overall fundraising efforts, including annual giving, major gifts, sponsorships, and institutional funding, with a focus on driving sustainable revenue growth. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in building trust with donors, funders, and partners, and the ability to translate the organization's work into a compelling case for investment. The Vice President will also guide the development and implementation of integrated marketing communications strategies, serving as the brand steward and ensuring that all content is mission-aligned and resonates with both internal and external audiences. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in fundraising and marketing communications, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. The role demands a compelling communicator, a trusted relationship builder, and a collaborative leader who is values-driven and committed to equity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in donor communications, stewardship, and development operations, as well as experience in brand and marketing leadership. Proficiency in donor CRM systems and the ability to use data and metrics to inform strategy are essential.
