National Account Manager – Digital Solutions Division (DSD)
Location: REMOTE - Virginia

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a results-driven National Account Manager to support the growth of our Digital Solutions Division. This strategic sales role is responsible for developing national account strategies, building strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth while supporting profitability, market share, and long-term business objectives.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in technical sales, experience working with power systems or digital technologies, and a proven ability to develop opportunities from initial prospecting through successful customer adoption.

What You'll Do:

Strategic Sales & Business Development

• Manage prospects, opportunities, and sales pipelines to achieve orders entered, revenue, market share, and profitability objectives.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans and tactical account strategies that align with division growth goals.
• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across target markets and strategic accounts.
• Gather customer feedback and competitive intelligence to improve proposal success rates and strengthen future pursuits.

National Account Management

• Build, maintain, and expand relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
• Serve as the primary interface between customers and internal teams, including engineering, product management, service, support, and operations.
• Ensure successful implementation and customer adoption of Digital Solutions offerings.
• Develop long-term account growth plans to expand engagement and increase customer value.

Market Intelligence & Customer Engagement

• Analyze market trends, customer requirements, industry developments, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Work closely with marketing teams to generate qualified sales leads and strengthen brand positioning.
• Participate in industry conferences, seminars, trade shows, and customer events to promote MEPPI's Digital Solutions portfolio.

Forecasting & Commercial Leadership

• Develop accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for assigned territories and accounts.
• Monitor sales performance and recommend adjustments to achieve growth objectives.
• Lead commercial discussions and contract negotiations when required, ensuring acceptable business terms and conditions.

Strategic Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Partner with internal stakeholders to align customer requirements with product capabilities and business objectives.
• Provide recommendations on product enhancements, market opportunities, and process improvements.
• Support ongoing efforts to improve customer experience and strengthen MEPPI's market presence.

What You Bring:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or account management .
  • Experience selling power quality products, software solutions, digital technologies, or related technical products and services.
  • Experience working with manufacturers' representatives, distributors, resellers, or channel partners is preferred.

Skills & Expertise

• Broad knowledge of electrical power systems, power quality products, or digital technology solutions.
• Proven ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all levels within customer organizations.
• Strong commercial negotiation and technical sales capabilities.
• Results-oriented mindset with exceptional attention to detail and customer focus.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong team orientation with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
