Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' clinical conditions across all age groups, prioritizing care and taking immediate action in emergency situations ranging from minor injuries to trauma.
• Initiate appropriate emergency measures when a physician is not immediately available.
• Operate and monitor specialized emergency care equipment including infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, respiratory therapy, and mechanical ventilation as prescribed by the physician.
• Document patient observations, nursing interventions, therapeutic measures, and coordinate care activities across professional disciplines.
• Assist in maintaining adequate supplies, equipment, and a safe unit environment while supporting care planning and delivery for assigned patients.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Active Oklahoma RN License or valid Compact RN License.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must meet pre-employment credentialing requirements including background check and drug screen.
• Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience providing emergency care to patients across a broad acuity spectrum, including trauma cases.
• Familiarity with coordinating multidisciplinary care teams and delegating assignments based on staff skill sets.
