Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine) Locums Opportunity - Farmington, Maine (IMLC Accepted) Location
Farmington, Maine
Availability- Start Date: ASAP (Credentialing projects a November start; earlier start possible with an active Maine license)
- Assignment Length: Minimum 3 months with potential to extend 6-9 months
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Patient Care: 6-8 hours per day
- Administrative/In-Basket: Approximately 2 hours per day
- Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Call: None
- Weekend Coverage: None
- Outpatient Primary Care
- Adult patient population
- Minimum of 16 patients per day
- Acute and chronic disease management
- Annual wellness visits
- Post-hospital follow-up
- Preventive care
- Medication refills
- Test result review and follow-up
- Referral management
- Patient advice and in-basket management
- Approximately 12 physicians and 15 APPs across the practice
- May float between three primary care office locations in Farmington
- No residents or fellows
- Strong physician support team
- EMR: Epic
- Active Maine medical license (Required)
- Board Certified in Family Medicine (Required)
- Family Medicine trained (Required)
- Epic EMR experience (must be noted at the time of name clear)
