We are looking for a highly skilled professional Product Engineer to help shape the creation of cutting-edge High Speed and Signal Conditioning Amplifies devices and solutions that meet the unique needs and challenges of our market. As a Product Engineer you will be responsible for connecting engineering decisions with customer needs and business goals while ensuring the product is reliable, useful, affordable, and ready for real-world use. Use your technical expertise to help make decisions for design, manufacturing, and reliability, while balancing the time required to bring the product to market. Responsibilities may include:Development work in support of a broad range of analog amplifiers, PGAs, XTRs, Buffers and Optical networking devicesCollaborate and work in a team environment with Design, Applications, Test, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality and Reliability in all aspects of new product development, production release to accomplish goals and objectivesDesign bench evaluation PCBs (printed circuit boards) and generating characterizations programs for bench evaluationsPerform evaluation, debug and characterization of integrated circuits to ensure they meet the product requirement specifications and manufacturing requirementsWork with failure analysis (FA) to determine root cause of any reliability and qualification failuresWork with process and package technology development to develop and qualify technologies for new product developmentWork closely with the global manufacturing facilities to address customer specific product quality, yield management and cost reductions issues on mature products. Scope of work could include product spins and derivativesQualificationsMinimum requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics5+ year's of relevant experience with integrated circuit and device failure analysisSolid understanding of analog and digital circuits their operation and analysisPreferred qualifications:Have working knowledge of what is required to take a product from development stage to productionExperience with plastic and hermetic package developments and IC thermal modeling.Experience with A&D and space level device releaseHands on experience working with different lab equipment for taking data and / or performing device debug or failure analysis. For example use of the curve tracers; return loss analyzers, oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.Experience of bench testing of high speed op-amps, PGAs, INAs, XTRs and BuffersExperience with bench validation and characterization PCBsHands on experience working with different lab equipment for taking data and / or performing device debug or failure analysis. For example use of the curve tracers; return loss analyzers, oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.Experience with bench validation and characterization PCBsProgramming skills for automation of bench characterization equipment (Labview/Test stand), along with C and or C++Extensive knowledge of statistics and tools to analyze large amounts of characterization data and determine and set production test limits and predict yield dataAbility to work in a team setup comprising of other functional groupsStrong time management skills that enable on-time project deliveryDemonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationshipsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environmentAbility to take the initiative and drive for resultsStrong problem solving, verbal and written communications skillsAbility to multiplex between projects and be able to maintain project schedulesAbout the organizationTI does not make recruiting or hiring decisions based on citizenship, immigration status or national origin.
